Fedyaev Nikolay Vladislavovich was born on May 4, 1967 in the city of Lyskovo (Gorky region) of the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia. Vivid memories of his childhood, which took place in the ancient village of Isady, located on the picturesque bank of the Volga, where a wonderful view of the Makaryevsky Monastery opens, were reflected in his first drawings. In the 70s.

family moves to the city of Izmail, Odessa region. There, in 1984, Nikolai graduated with honors from a children's art school and dreams of devoting himself to art. But a year later he was called up for the Black Sea Fleet. At first it was a navy, then a civilian one, I wanted to see distant lands and would plunge into romantic adventures. It seemed all this for a short while, but for two whole decades he shared the profession of a sailor with creativity.

1995 can be considered the beginning of a serious exhibition activity, although before that I had tried myself in collective exhibitions of the city, where his work was already of great interest. He considers his first personal exhibition to be the first, where his first works appeared before the court of venerable artists. In 2000, his name is included in the encyclopedia “The Artist of the World” (Munich-Leipzig). In 2005 he graduated from the Izmail State University for the Humanities with a degree in art and pedagogy.

And the landscape, and still life, and the figure of a man for an artist is an occasion for improvisation, an impulse for self-development of a picture as a living organism. The play of color creates the interdependence of the figure and the background, where the viewer becomes a direct participant and co-author of the work. The works of Nikolai Fedyaev are in many private collections, and some are in the Izmail art gallery.
