Today we introduce you to the interesting South African artist Nelson Macamo.
His main tool in creating paintings is charcoal and oil paints. It is through his feelings, sensations, coal and colors that he conveys the whole nature of childhood. And the name of these works makes us think about the nature of their creation.

In the paintings of the artist Macamo, the main actors are South African children, including his 11-year-old cousin Mapule Maoto, whom the artist often depicts on his canvases. The movement and gestures of children are intended to present the child’s gaze with playfully painted flowers on their hands or hair, or large round glasses on their faces.

Until July 27, his personal exhibition will be presented in Paris, where you can see many well-known works, including the one created for the cover of Time magazine.
