Is it possible that a work of art exists exclusively on the Internet, and not really? Sculptures by digital artist Chad Knight are proof that art can only be virtual.
Chad Knight captivates the network with its gigantic digital sculptures. The ghostly works of an eclectic American artist are very popular on social networks, so charming that they seem real. After sixteen years of crazy skateboarding in California, Chad Knight decided to devote himself to 3D design, because, as he himself said, he was tired of breaking bones, and his age no longer allowed him to engage in this sport.

Chad is not only one of the most active digital artists at the moment, but thanks to his strong creativity and great and innate talent, he was the design director for the Vans brand, and now plays the same important role for Nike.
Most of them are monumental sculptures immersed in breathtaking landscapes. Lakes, deserts and mountains are the backdrop in which Chad places his huge virtual sculptures. Sensual women, children, couples of lovers and endangered animals are some of her favorite subjects. His inspiration comes from Renaissance and Baroque artists such as Caravaggio and Peter Paul Rubens, as well as contemporary artists such as Mike Winkleman and Archan Nair.

Chad Knight presents fabulous places that stimulate our imagination and make us want to organize a trip to visit these masterpieces, which, in fact, do not exist. The harmony and beauty of naked human bodies and the charm of animals perfectly interact with the context in which they are inserted in order to create balanced and ideal relationships between people and nature. In his works, Chad Knight shows us the beauty of the world in order to stimulate thought on such important issues as global warming or the danger of extinction of many species of animals.
“Everything in my work represents something or someone; my art is very similar to an encrypted diary that I can share publicly, ”says the artist.
