Poetry of the body. Tessa Zerbib

17.07.2018

Today we introduce you to the French artist Tessa Zerbib. She was born in Paris in 1967. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from the College of Penningen.
Her arrival in art was not an easy and thought-out step, having worked as a graphic designer before the age of 35, Tessa began to study painting and drawing enthusiastically.
Inspired by Francis Bacon, she worked for 10 years in the nude genre, presenting a very passionately nude figure without falsity and ornaments.
Creating her own works, she created poetry of the body, female beauty and refinement.
In 2003, Tessa decided to return to the figurative painting, already inspired by the realism of Lucien Freud. Figures are created by acrylic, of course, it perceives realism in its own way, from its point of view, from its angle and perception.
As an epilogue of this perception by realism, there was a series of works "People" on the Internet.
Currently lives and works in France.
