Unknown "Wonderland"

My name is Olga Shelestova, I'm 15 years old and I'm an artist.
I have been painting for about 5 years. The progress of my drawings is enormous. It’s already impossible to call me a beginner, so I’m a continuing artist. I work with markers and pencils on plain sketchbook paper, as well as oil paints on canvas. Linen or cotton. I draw in different formats.

But I want to tell you about my oil love. The style of work is completely different. Somewhere I manage to stop time and capture a moment, but somewhere I literally revive my creation, give life to the creature in the picture. Most of my work in oil is carried out in the period 1-3 weeks.

 I do not just like to draw, I can catch and understand the fine art line between science fiction and reality. In my paintings I combine the beauty of wildlife and the wonders and secrets of ordinary modern life. Basically, my stories emphasize my penchant for fantasies and fairy tales. More often I try to get away from the real and the present in the unknown "Wonderland". The ideas of creating my paintings come to me, often from dreams or just by the whim of my imagination. For me, my images are a kind of outlet. A window into another, that same real world, from where I actually came. I give free rein to my thoughts and those carry me far beyond the bounds of reality.

In my works you can see the colorfulness of my perception of the world. They carry a charge of positive energy. My paintings interest, surprise and impress my loved ones. I hope other people like them too.
