Hyperrealism - a new trend in modern painting, which is characterized by the greatest resemblance to photographic paintings. Often, looking at hyperrealistic paintings, it is impossible to distinguish them from the photograph.
This direction in painting emerged in the second half of the twentieth century as a counterbalance to abstract expressionism.
Works in the style of hyperrealism have a more complex focus on the subject. The philosophy of this direction of painting is that the work should be more than just copies of reality, they must transmit "super-reality".
Robin Eley - Australian artist-hyper-realist of English origin. On average, for one job, it takes about 5 weeks for 90 working hours a week. All the artist's works are oil paints.
