I, Anastasia Bogolyubova, have been painting since childhood. For me, drawing is communication with myself and the world around me.
Having a classical art education, I always wanted to feel my soul in my works, otherwise art makes no sense to me.
Just a year ago - after a series of countless works - an idea-obsession appeared in my head: “I want to create my own canvases”. Not to be connected by orders or trends, as happens with most contemporary artists.

Purpose: to paint pictures that reflect my feelings and sensations from contact with the outside world. Pictures capable of talking to their viewers.
Not a second was the question of what to draw on the canvas and what materials to use. Oil and acrylic are two types of paints that in my performance perfectly complement each other: the softness and suppleness of some, the brightness and texture of others. And the people around and nature are sources of inexhaustible inspiration.
As you know, people can endlessly look at two things; in my case, the endless starry sky joins the flowing water and the burning fire.
And my muse often resorts to his image, since the sky is not only beauty, but also freedom.
Let's feel her together.
Close your eyes. Imagine that you are in a night forest, and only the chirping of crickets cuts through the silence. Take a deep breath of cool, fresh air, slightly humid due to night dew. Open your eyes and reach out to the sky.
Billions of stars stretch along the blue of the night, hiding behind the dark treetops. Isn't it a great feeling?
Nature is always a source of creative energy. And the animal world, as part of it.
The main creative project that I am working on at the moment is a series of paintings “Pop Art Animalism”, the characters of which are predators in their most striking manifestations.

"Starlight Night" (Lot 5795)
Now in the series there are three paintings, two of which have already found their owners.
The first on a rhombic canvas was a lion - the king of animals.
A predator profile is clearly drawn on a charcoal black background, and multilayer brush strokes and fingerprints create interesting overflows on the animal’s mane.
The lion was drawn enthusiastically, like the second picture of the series.
The fox was chosen as the second animal, based on the representative of the Japanese subspecies - with hypnotic slanting eyes and fluffy hair. What is noteworthy, the picture found its master in Japan, where it is now.
As you can see, all the paintings in this series have one color scheme. She was chosen purposefully.

"Fox"
Black color. From my youth, I find in this color that elegance, sophistication and depth that is not found in other colors. It’s easier for me to paint over the canvas black and get started than to conceive everything from a white background.
White color is a contrast to black. Saturated and at the same time not carrying anything in itself. Spatter of white on a black canvas for me is a scattering of small constellations.
Yellow. Symbolizes the sun's rays and their energy. Nature is always full of it, even in the sunset and predawn hours. Yellow color sets in a positive mood.
Turquoise - the color of the sea, sky, early foliage. Favorite of the shades of cold blue.
Pink color is a tribute to the style of pop art in which I work, creating another picture for this series. He is modern, youthful, squeaking. Fuchsia is precisely the shade that this gamut lacked.

"Lion roar"
In the same gamut, the third picture was painted, dedicated to a truly beautiful animal - a tiger. The basis was the image of the Amur tiger. Amursky is its largest subspecies.
The tiger is the only cat that is not afraid of water and boldly dives into it for the purpose of hunting. Having a bright striped color, they manage to be silent and skillful predators. A truly graceful and proud animal.
"Tiger's roar" (Lot 5690)
The tiger on my canvas is a wild, growling, preparing to jump. Dangerous and attractive at the same time.
On this canvas, for the first time for me, I tested fluorescent paints by applying them in several layers on the light parts of the animal. Therefore, the tiger glows in the dark (often even in the daytime, being in the shade).
In 2020, I plan to expand my collection. I want to share my work with art lovers, discovering new facets of painting and nature.
