Kazemir Malevich. Not only the "Black Square"

Olga Rozanova is one of the followers of the Suprematists, who developed her theory of color, in which she repulsed the coloring or "transformed color" - Malevich.
For eight years of her creative career, the artist has gone from impressionism to cubism, futurism and his version of Suprematism. Olga Rozanova one of the first draws her views on non-objective painting, defines it as a "flower painting". In her work "Green Strip" Rozanova tries to convey the nature of color, its energy. Vertically on a white background of the canvas, thin stripes are marked with a green strip. The peculiarity of the work is that transparency creates the impression of a colored ray refracted on a white background. Color in accordance with the ideas of "transformed color" goes into the light and is perceived as an infinite subtle radiance.
Researchers and critics believe that this work is one of the vertices of abstract painting. It is also believed that the "Green Strip" is part of the triptych, which is currently lost.
This picture is comparable to the value of the "Black Square" by Malevich, with only one small exception to the 70s of the last century, it was completely oblivious.
There are also two versions of this work, one of which is stored in the "Rostov Kremlin", the second in a private collection in Sweden.
