Julio Anaya Cabanding, an artist from Malaga, creates replicas of famous paintings in simple, unpretentious public places. Where classic scenes and their richly decorated frames are painted by hand on sometimes unexpected backgrounds. It can be collapsed slabs, walls painted with graffiti, incomprehensible buildings. In this case, the artist himself chooses such places with special care so that there is a clear contrast with the intact halls of museums. In fact, these places are initially repulsive, they are not hospitable, inappropriate for perception and acceptance of such art, as for example in museums, where walls, floor and ceiling create sterility of perception and gloss.

First, the artist paints his copy with spray paint, and then carefully fills using acrylic paint. The idea arose spontaneously, while studying at the University of Fine Arts in Malaga, when his friend, graffiti artist Imon Boy, proposed to save himself from the framework, isolation and move work to the street. As free street artists do.

Many viewers who pass by his pictures to the streets sometimes think that these are real masterpieces or just a picture of pictures that appeared in some strange way on personal walls in completely unattractive places.
Contemporary art is many-sided, no matter what kind of paint the artist creates his work, only one thing is important - he takes us into the world of beauty of painting, expands our boundaries of self-knowledge and gives a breath of hope.
This once again confirms our statement that art is accessible to everyone! All we need is a desire to see, feel and feel.
