The path of Helen Freyja. From veterinary medicine to art

Every artist we represent has his own achievements. Elena Freyja is a finalist of the international competition Golden Turtle 2017 in the nomination "Painting. Portrait "(watercolor" Do you shoot? "), Participant of the first international biennial Contemporary watercolor. Crimea Alushta 2016 ("The Deer"), participant of the competition dedicated to Ireland (oil "O'Brien's Tower").
Here's how she writes about herself:
- My path to painting was long. Despite the fact that I paint since childhood, the love of animals and medicine has overcome the constant interest in drawing, and I have chosen veterinary activity as my profession. Having studied and worked as a veterinarian in the clinic, I went into a more creative profession, into the sphere of tattooing.
This decision has affected my whole life.
A talented person is talented in many ways. These are illustrations of the children's fairy tale "Artemkin's Fairy Tales", and cooperation with charitable organizations, the Good City and the Board of Trustees for helping bull terriers, creating illustrations for printing on clothes for various organizations, developing individual sketches for tattoos, creating and selling sketches.
For three years Elena is looking for and finds her style in watercolors, then the first clothes with her drawings appear. And a little later, the first limited collection of swiss shots is created, dedicated to "serious breeds of dogs", calling to look at them from a different angle, forget about myths and other stupidities about these breeds. At the same time, cooperation begins with the Bull Terrier Assistance Council, to which the collection of clothes was devoted to a greater degree. Affects the love of animals and medicine.

Since 2016, Elena is densely engaged in painting. During this time, it has written and sent to customers about a hundred paintings around the world: to Ireland, Austria, France, Estonia, Mexico, Chile, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and, of course, Russia.

Having tried herself in oil painting, Elena feels a strong interest and begins to study and actively work in this direction. Over the past two years, there has been a lot of work to order, many portraits of pets have been created, in this genre it has gained a lot of experience. - I graduated from airbrushing courses, a course in abstract acrylic painting by Alexander Roshchin (soon his course on ink will be added) and I continue to study. Now I'm preparing the exhibition material, material for competitions, I'm learning new techniques.
