Jeremy Geddes is a modern Australian artist, whose paintings for many are remembered by an astronaut. Most of them can be attributed to photorealism, but scenes where the astronaut falls on the streets of the city or flying through uncharted worlds are more surreal.
Jeremy was born in 1974 in New Zealand, after graduating from the Victorian College of Art in Melbourne, continued his studies in the field of painting and receiving the highest master's degree.
The artist also creates comics that have received some recognition and won a number of awards.
He currently lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. His love of beagle dogs and computer games is widely known.
“The picture may be based on some kind of initial core in the form of an idea or feeling. In the course of work, something may not withstand the transfer from idea to form, but my work requires a lot of time and thoughts.
In general, I like to see the progress of ideas from picture to picture. Every time I try to understand what is not working. At some point, the image appears to be correct, leading to the next revision, research, and so on. Then, if nothing else comes to mind, I feel justified in creating a complete picture. ”

Many artists compose the composition of their paintings so that the most important and interesting is in the center, where proportions, complex construction of tone, color and general plan are always observed.
All this allows you to keep the viewer's eye. But, the artist himself believes that such a view is very banal, beaten and uninteresting.
In his works, we see an intriguing moment, a small detail that intrigues the viewer, places him outside the picture and brings him beyond the scope of what is happening. The spectator can only speculate himself, where the spectator himself becomes the author, the co-creator of the universe.
