He could present his first works to the general public at the age of 11, sitting on the steps of the Cologne Cathedral. After this performance, he is admitted to art school, where he was the only child among adult students.

In 20 years, Mike Dargas becomes famous as a talented tattoo artist, participating in numerous competitions, where he was able to win a lot of prizes.
Inspired by artists such as Dali, Kavarajo, Hans Giger, Mike began to focus on realism and surrealism.
His method is to transfer all, even the smallest details, to create the feeling as if looking at a photo. In this case, the artist himself uses only the oil and the thinnest brushes to create the most realistic works.
In his works, the artist focuses on different types - these can be portraits, both of elderly, strong personalities, and those who can bend over in a light breeze. Most of the works are devoted to portraits of beautiful women and their emotions, which transfer the viewer to the magical world of sensations.

I try to create realistic art on the verge of hyper-realism. Hyperrealism is pure perfection, but I want people to understand that it’s still a painting, says the artist.

His love of accuracy, in an almost manic manner, adds painting to brush strokes and draws the viewer into a fairy-tale world where time has stopped.
Despite the fact that his paintings at some distance can be taken for photographs, a detailed examination, we can observe how the entire canvas crumbles into microscopic details with a very thin drawing of each element.
