Rob Gonsalves′s Magical Realism

Rob (Robert) Gonçalves is a Canadian artist working in the style of magical realism-surrealism, where the line between reality and the world of dreams is almost indistinguishable.
Rob made his first steps in painting at the age of 12 and was formed as an artist under the influence of the creativity of Dangi, Escher and the magical Magritte.
His paintings are, above all, a magical unification of the world, imperceptible metamorphoses, an overflow of objects from one person to another. In his paintings, the artist tries to reach out to us and show that everything in this world is interconnected.
Today, many outstanding people, well-known corporations, embassies collect Gonsalves and his limited edition work.
In his works, more and more he gives the central place to architecture, perspective, where he builds a chain of illusions.
