We want to introduce you to an interesting person, artist Larisa Repina, lives and works in Moscow. Which, the story will tell itself.
Life is creativity, in all manifestations! I want to tell you a little story: with the first steps in drawing with a pencil, my beloved mom introduced me. She showed me how to make proportions correctly when you draw a person, like a shadow and light falling. In general, in my childhood I loved to draw illustrations for fairy tales that I composed myself. Oh, this rich children's fantasy. A little later, I went to study at an art school, which allowed me to decide on my future profession.

After graduating from secondary school, she entered the Institute of Chelyabinsk as a graphic designer and decorator.
I worked on this specialty for several years, but the situation in life has changed, I moved to Moscow and changed my activity to more interesting. You will ask yourself, what could be even more interesting?
Drawing Russian nesting dolls. Painting and illustrations, landscapes and portraits on nesting dolls are of interest and valued in any country in the world. At the moment, my work is a favorite hobby and a cause for the soul! Some works are especially expensive, as they are associated with memories.

It is a pity that the artist did not submit photos of painted matryoshkas. But we want to remember and tell the story of the emergence of the Matryoshka. It appeared already in 1890, the figure was a Buddhist figure of St. Fukurum, which was brought to the estate near Moscow Abramtsevo. This figure was collapsible, within which five more pupae were hidden.

In this image, turner Vasily Zvezdochkin carved the figures, and artist Sergey Malyutin painted them. The nested doll consisted of 8 figures. The artist depicted a girl in a sundress in a scarf and a black rooster in her hands. The peculiarity of this nested doll was that the figure changed, first a girl, then a boy, and the last one was a baby wrapped in a diaper. And the name itself appeared on behalf of Matrona, which was very common at that time, and so our Matryoshka appeared. Many historians point to the fact that the appearance of the Matryoshka at that time was not accidental, it all started with the fact that the Russian intelligentsia began to seriously engage in collecting works of folk art, which in general was the beginning of understanding national artistic traditions of Russia.
Now we are trying to rethink a lot in the work of various artists.
