Meet - artist Suvorov Ekaterina Nikolaevna, born in Tver.
Over the past 15 years, lives and works in St. Petersburg.
Always fond of drawing. She enthusiastically prepared posters for all holidays, inventing plots, often ironic. At the age of 12, she entered the art school, where she studied for 4 years and graduated with honors.
After graduation, she took private oil painting lessons.
Catherine says that the art school gave her an excellent base and she is grateful to her wonderful teachers.
When in life there was a difficult choice and the need to determine the future profession and university, economic education turned out to be more promising. Ekaterina graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management at SPBGTI (TU).
But the desire to create did not let go. Catherine continues to paint herself, studying history, techniques and techniques. The work in the advertising and production company, although it was interesting, was in no way connected with painting.
The strongest creative impetus for her was the birth of a son. As if waking up from sleep, Catherine began to devote all her free time to painting, literally blowing up the information world in search of new ideas about painting and their embodiment on canvas.
An important turning point for her was a deep acquaintance with the techniques of the old masters who taught her patience. Due to this, Catherine entered a new qualitative level of her works, began to look differently at painting as a whole.
Over the past year, more than 150 works have been written, many of which have scattered into private collections of friends, acquaintances and relatives.
Catherine likes to joke: “I don’t really believe in stars, but I am pleased to know that 80% of geniuses were born under the sign of Aquarius. And I was born under the sign of Aquarius. ”
Now painting is the main activity of Catherine. She writes in different styles, a lot and enthusiastically. Often the process captures so much that, barely taking a break from one job, it takes on another. Ideas just attack.
Everything is interesting, both classic and expression. Catherine believes that you should not get hung up on one thing, switching gives an excellent workout and develops the artist's horizons.
