Looking at the sculptures created by the Italian artist and sculptor Peter Demets, it seems that soon all his works will begin to breathe, walk and talk.
Peter creates unique, realistic wooden sculptures that are very similar to living people.
Since 1993, after receiving the master's degree in sculpture, the artist begins to participate in various personal and group exhibitions. The peculiarity of his works is that all his works are always made of very complex material, namely, the tree.
In Peter's skillful hands, the material turns into very detailed figures of people, with the anatomical precise features of the human body. Natural wood tones enhance the effect of realism.
The artist has a superbly developed sense of perspective and composition, which makes it possible to create real works of art. At the moment he lives and works in a small town in Italy-Ortisee. Perhaps, thanks to life in a small town, inspired by the surrounding world, creates such a unique three-dimensional sculpture.
Many of his works have small dimensions, which allows them to be installed in various decorative wooden frames.
