Combining figurative and abstract painting, the artist Nadia Rapti, a Greek woman, creates her intricate works.
Creating, combining, drawing, contrasting with precise and deliberate gestures accidental and ill-conceived. Trying to create clear, well-defined figures of people and their shadows with schematic lines.
The work of palette knitting so captivates Nadia that on her canvas again and again appears the texture, so necessary to create a unity of opposites styles. In part, the author himself thinks that he is finishing the picture, until the moment when it is not yet finished, thus leaving people to think aloud, to realize and accept, to feel the integrity of the whole work.
In 2002 she received her master's degree in architecture from the National Technical University of Athens, in 2004 she completed her master's degree in design studies at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
