Today we introduce you to the artist - Mukhamethanova Rayil Karamovna. Born on December 8, 1975 in the village of Mari-Turek, Mari-Turek region of the Republic of Mari El.
Interest in drawing manifested itself early. The picturesque places of the native village: birch groves, meadows, the beauty of the fields and woods, small rivers brought noticeable changes to the girl’s life. She selflessly and aggressively begins to paint, deciding that art is her vocation. In 1991 she graduated from Mari-Turek secondary school and in parallel - the art department of the children's art school. In 1992 she entered the Yoshkar-Ola Art School at the Department of Design. With special gratitude she recalls her teachers B. Maklashin, A. Fominykh, V. Kurochkin, who, giving their experience and knowledge, taught us to love business, to love our native land, and most importantly - to believe in yourself. After graduating from college she returned to her native Marie-Turek.
For three years she worked as a graphic designer in the central district library, taught drawing and fine arts in high school. Currently - Director of the Regional Local History Museum. Mosolov. In 2005 she graduated from the Mariinsky State Pedagogical Institute. N.K. Krupskaya.
Painting for the artist is a kind of mystery and magic, with the ability to color white canvas and convey love and admiration for everything that surrounds us.
She believes that her artistic style is more decorative and is based on contrasts and bright rich colors, which corresponds to her positive outlook.
The landscapes of the artist breathe genuine sincerity of feelings. The music that comes from the heart sounds in them: now it is exciting, sometimes sad, now cheerful, but always welcome, renewing and pleasing the heart with tender, unobtrusive beauty. With such warm-heartedness one can capture only the very close, experienced feelings. Landscapes of the artist - a beautiful home decoration, filled with warm memories.
Raili's still lifes are good not only by the skillful construction of the composition, but also by the artist’s amazing ability to see and transmit the smallest details on the canvas. Each canvas contains many revitalizing details. The artist strives to reflect the pulsation of life, his mood, his vision of the world in every stroke. The pictures evoke a feeling of belonging, make you look at the world around you in a new way, see in unusual objects, an extraordinary essence.
The art of batik Rail caught fire while studying at the school. Having mastered the basic skills of painting on the fabric, I decided to transfer my skills to the children. In 2004, she initiated the creation of the Batik studio, which is still working today. Guys, under the guidance of their mentor, take part in various competitions and exhibitions, win prizes.
We had a unique opportunity to ask a few questions to Rail. Some of them we publish in this article.
Raila, what is inspiration for you and how does it come to you?
- Inspiration does not come, you often go and look for him! Beautiful leaf in the autumn wind, bend a blade of grass! Thick silver fog over the pond, a field of daisies and cornflowers resembles a white and blue carpet! At such moments you take brushes and paints and understand how lucky you are and how lucky you are in life.
What else do you want to achieve?
- Like any artist I think that there is no limit to perfection! There is still much to learn, and finally, to find your own special style. The artist took place precisely when his handwriting becomes recognizable.
What do you feel when you finish work?
- Work is over! Always different feelings, depending on what you experienced in the process! If you were “all the way” easy and joyful, you got real pleasure, it is very difficult to part with it. It would be desirable to savor more and more, paying scrupulous attention to details, getting closer to the ideal even closer.
What is your favorite genre in painting?
- Probably, it is closer to me to work in the genre of still life. Especially when I make batiks. Pascal also said: “What a strange painting is still life: it makes you admire a copy of those things you don’t admire with its originals”.
Railia is a member of Russian and international exhibitions.
