Poetry of the Norman garden

French artist Sylvie Fortin lives in the small, picturesque village of Gerberoy. The gentle poetic dialogue of the modest colors of the north of France in a quiet and contemplative country life.
Her works are not just pictures, but more like portraits of flowers, where plants are not cut, but grow in a garden and all are interconnected.
As the main characters of the story, flowers are brought to the fore and shown in large, where the background is a light hazy mist.
Delicate petals of buds and gracefully curved stems are carefully traced. The peculiarity of her work is that it creates a continuous movement, a silent interview between flowers.
The unforced tacit neighborhood of noble grass and weed adds romance to paintings, where proud poppies are combined with borschivik umbrellas, curling roses with weeds, irises with unpretentious bells.
