Continue our tour of countries and continents to tell about unique contemporary artists and their techniques.
Makiva Mutomba is a Zimbabwean self-taught artist. From a middle-class family, I finished my third year at the university, studying electronics of mechanical engineering and dropped out. And he dramatically changed his course in self-development - he began to paint pictures.
For him, as for his parents, leaving the university and, in fact, his future was a difficult step. First Makiva draws small thumbnails and sells them on the roadside. It is at this moment that a love for a palette knot arises, which in the future will become for him the main tool.
All his works are inspired by nature. The artist writes his works in a weakly illuminated studio, sometimes, for more work uses photographs. His palette is one square meter, where he stirs paint and densely puts on the canvas, leaving it intact. After drying, creates the impression of minimal interference.

At the moment, the artist has held a number of personal and group exhibitions in Germany, Great Britain6 and France and South Africa. Works are kept in private collections.
